I went to art exhibitions located at the Galeri Petronas at Suria Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) this afternoon.

Notice I said exhibitions because there were two of them being held at the gallery: Young Malaysian Artists: New Object(ion) II displaying creative work of, well, young artists; and, Convergence which was exhibiting the PETRONAS Art Collection from two prominent artists namely Latiff Mohidin and Nadiah Bamadhaj.

It was fascinating to see the work of local talents who are so creative.

Seeing the work of these two generations, all on the same floor has provided me (who’s been out of touch with the art worlds) an awesome learning platform. Glad I made a stop at the gallery.

For those interested and have yet been there, there is still time. Both exhibitions run until November. Guest what? Admission is free.

Here are photos of some of the art works by Young Malaysian Artists, taken during my visit to the Galeri Petronas today.
