December 27, 2013 – Kam Hashim, owner of Kamversation.com today has announced the start of The Mimbar Project (TMP) which is a new initiative to feature mimbars from various mosques. To mark the beginning of the Project, Kamversation.com will publish the first post on a mimbar today, featured in the category of The Mimbar Project on the blogsite.
“Most mimbars that I’ve seen were unique in terms of their structure and design. Some of them were decorated with traditional designs closely tied to local culture. So I wanted to start gathering images and information about mimbars no matter what they look like and share what I can find on Kamversation.com,” said Kam Hashim, founder of Kamversation.com.
The first post of TMP will feature the mimbar at Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya. Readers can access it by clicking on The Mimbar Project on the main menu bar or by simply going to the frontpage.
“I am excited to take this first step starting up The Mimbar Project which initiative is also a motivation for me to work harder to get content up on the blogsite. I am glad that the idea that popped up a few months ago finally became a reality now,” added Kam.
Any questions or feedback on TMP may be sent to contact[at]kamversation.com.
